The movie is a crime drama based on the 2008 "D.B. Tuber" bank heist. The case follows a man who posts a Craigslist ad seeking workers for a fake job. He instructs the applicants to wear matching work uniforms. On the day of the heist, he blends in with the crowd, assaults the armored car guard outside the bank, and escapes with $400,000.
I was tasked to create a series of deliverables to promote the movie.
I started with the movie poster and highlighted the moment right before the heist to interest audiences. When creating the poster, I combined several images and photo touching techniques to create the scene. I selected orange and yellow for the color scheme due to their associations with warnings. With the billboard, I went with a simpler design to make it easier to capture attention and process the relevant information. For the other deliverables, I remixed the poster layout to fit their environment.
