This is a local family-owned landscaping business that has over two decades of experience. Now that they have recently expanded their work radius, they feel like it's time to modernize their brand.
I was tasked to give their logo and branding a complete makeover. Their only request was that the color green had to be used.
Starting with their logo, I simplified their name to Ricardo Landscaping. I went for a simple sans-serif to give it a clean, modern look. I added the curving motion of an electric trimmer to the logo by having it cut across Ricardo, as if it were a lawn. I then used that curving motion throughout the pieces to tie them all together.
